Robert E. Teeter

Robert E. Teeter, 70, of 44 Teeter Road, Ithaca, NY 14850, passed away on July 26, 2024 at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca. Born on July 20, 1954 in Ithaca, he was the son of the late Richard Benjamin Teeter and Alice Cedemia (Whitaker) Teeter. Following graduation from Lansing High School, Bob enlisted in the US Air Force in 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1976 with the rank of Sgt.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Janice (Hanvey) Teeter; son, Shawn Teeter; grandchildren, Richard B. Teeter II and Makayla M. Teeter; great-grandson, JohnPaul Wade Teeter; and sister, Peggy Banfield.

Immediate services for Bob at Lansing Funeral Home will be private. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the family home, 44 Teeter Road, Ithaca, NY 14850. A dish to pass will be welcome for those who are able.
