Richard Pitre

Richard Pitre, a loving father of two, age 62, passed away in his home on Asbury Rd., Lansing, NY, on August 29, 2013. Born November 4, 1950, in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Maximo and Alice (Lopez) Pitre.

Richard enjoyed his time spent with family. He also loved fishing, puzzles, reading the Bible, movies, and was a major Yankee fan. If you were blessed to have met him, then he left an imprint in your life as well.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Richardson of Lansing; son, Richard Pitre, Jr. of Bronx, NY; son in law, Scott Richardson of Lansing; grandchildren, Kyla Leann Reyes and Jaydenn Elizabeth Richardson of Lansing; Ashley Nicole Pitre of Ithaca; Philicia Pitre of Bronx, NY; great grandson, Kameron Michael Gardner of Lansing; three sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service, officiated by Sheldon Craig, will begin at 11am, Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY.
