Lillian Frances Neff, of 54 Moore Rd, Lansing died peacefully at home on 3-30-18. She was born on 1-26-1920 in Bridgeport, CT to Jack and Emma Schroeder O'Connor. Lillian worked for GE for 5 years after high school, then earned a scholarship to UConn, graduating with a teaching degree. Lillian met Charlie Neff while confined together at a summer teachers' camp during a measles outbreak. They married 12-31-49. Lillian taught every grade level. After retirement she travelled with ElderHostel and began a second career as a realtor. She was a lifelong learner, teacher and reader. She enjoyed gardening, swimming and nature.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Charlie, in 1998, all her 8 siblings, and infant granddaughter Darlene. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Neff of Fishkill, NY, Connie Neff (Nick Radan) of Wilmington, NC, and Christina Hatfield (Bob) of Lansing, NY; grandchildren Bonnie Jean Null(Steve), Charlie Hatfield, Frances Russell(Don) and Elena Neff, 6 great grandchildren and her Precious Kitty.
Donations in Lillian's name may be made to East Shore Christian Fellowship, Finger Lakes Library System, FoodNet, Hospicare, VFW, or the local animal shelter.
A private graveside service will be held at North Lansing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Lansing Funeral Home.
