Joann Marie Sullivan Magee, 55, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2015.

Born August 8, 1960, in Ithaca, she was a daughter of the late Gerald Francis and Rose Mary Clink Sullivan.  Joann was employed with Lakeside Nursing Home (now Cayuga Ridge) until an injury forced her to remain at home. She was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold.  Her family, especially her grandchildren, were her life, and she enjoyed spending time with them at Myers Park. She loved reading, southern soul music, fishing, and writing in her diary.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Magee, Sr., a sister, Nicole Hancock, and a brother Gene Sullivan.

She is survived by her children; Nicole Magee of Dryden, Leann Magee (Andy Reeves) of Lansing, Leroy Magee, Jr., (Crystal Reeves) of Lansing; grandchildren, Jaden, Devante, Mikyla, Malikai, Korey, Tia, Izayah, Drew, Tyshan, Anthony and Christine; sisters, Sharon Sullivan of Lodi, Rose-Ann Seaton (Steve); brothers, Robert Sullivan (Barb Creighton) of Norwich, Ronald Sullivan (Flora) of Norwich and Clarence King, Jr. (Chris Brown) of Sherburne.  Joann also leaves a special brother in law, Deloy Magee (Valerie) of Freeville; and best friend, Pat Kailbourne of Lansing.

Family will be present to receive friends at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY, from 11am-noon, on Friday, October 2nd, followed by a funeral service, officiated by Matthew Binkewicz, at 12pm.
