Jacqueline C. (Collins) Warner

Jacqueline C. (Collins) Warner, 78, of Lansing, NY passed peacefully on October 1, 2023 from complications of pancreatic cancer. Jackie was born 4-5-1945 to Edwadene E. Flynn and Charles G. Collins in Ithaca, NY. She spent her whole life in this area of NY, graduated from Ithaca High School and took some college courses. She worked at Cornell University Admissions office for over 27 years. Jackie loved going places and doing things with her many friends and family and taking her dog for daily walks. She will be deeply missed by her son, Stephen (Renee) and their children; daughters, Ianthe (Jim Sharpsteen) Warner and Kalendra (Phillip “PJ”) Solat; grandchildren, Kya and Ty Schadewald; siblings, Edward “Butch” Collins, Sandra Wilcox, Ralph Teeter and Sharon Straight; her beloved nephew, Richard “Ricky” (Jeanne) Grover; many other extended family; former son-in-law, Trevor Schadewald; lifelong friend, Louise Patterson; and her dog, Stella Mae. She is predeceased by her longtime companion, Vernard R. Trask; siblings, Leon “Red” Collins, Tom Collins, Jerry Collins and Doni McInturff; and her dearly loved hearing dog, Imp. There will be a private family burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cayuga Heights, NY.
