Fallie L. Padwa

Fallie (Wickard) Padwa, 69, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024 after a long journey with Alzheimer's disease. She was born September 16, 1955 to Duane and Joy Wickard in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

As a young adult, she met the love of her life and married Eugene Padwa on April 4, 1976 and moved to New York. She was a devoted mother, avid reader and baker of delicious desserts. Fallie enjoyed bowling, cutting coupons to share with her friends and caring for her pets. She could often be found working on a variety of crafts. Family members, friends, and even the occasional strangers were recipients of hand embroidered pillowcases, knit scarves, or colorful ribbon suncatchers.

Fallie was an example of what a true Christian should be, generously caring for others, being a "second mom" to her daughters' friends, and serving with ladies groups and the nursery at Union Center Christian Church.

Fallie is survived by her husband, Eugene Padwa, daughters Melissa (Brian) Parish and Amanda Padwa, grandson, Aiden Parish as well as her brothers Duane (Eileen) Wickard, Steve (Holly) Wickard and sister Barbara (Doug) Auchus and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held December 21 followed by a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
