Brian K. Emery

Brian K. Emery, 57, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018.  He was born on August 28, 1961, son of the late Carl and Ramona Emery.  He grew up in the Town of Enfield, and after graduating from Ithaca High School lived for several years in Florida before returning home.  He fought a long fearless battle with heart failure.  Brian was tough, undaunted, and always said he would outlive us!  We will miss that spirit and courage.

He is survived by his Wife, Diane Savey-Emery, Daughter, Jennifer Emery, Step-Children: Darcey, Ashley, and Bronson Singer.  Siblings Susan (Ken) Gorton, Karen Ferris, Robin (Darrell) Negley, 7 Nieces & Nephews and extended family and friends, in addition to his beloved dog, Jasmine.

There will be no services at Brian’s request, only a gathering of family.

Special thanks to Hospicare & Palliative Care Services of Ithaca.  Words can’t express the care, compassion and spiritual comfort that Brian’s support team gave us.  We could not have asked for a more perfect place for his final day.
