Anna M. Ayers, age 97, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Ithaca, NY, passed away in Punta Gorda on January 23, 2015.

Born December 10, 1917 in Ithaca, Anna was a daughter of the late Bela Horvath and Julie Vari Horvath.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph DiGiacomo, Roswell Ayers; and a son Robert DiGiacomo. She is survived by her children, Camillo DiGiacomo (Marian) of Wilmington, NC, Luigi DiGiacomo (Anita) of Dryden, NY, Jane Sebastian (Rudy) of Clermont, FL, and Joanne Solomon of Brick, NJ; a brother, Frank Horvath of Forest City, NC; sister, Elizabeth Rounds of Sayre, PA; 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren. and a large extended family.

Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6-8pm at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY. A prayer service, officiated by Fr. Malachy Nwosu, will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2pm at Lansing Funeral Home. Interment at Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY will be delayed.
