Lansing

John M. Case, Sr., of 12 Beach Rd., Lansing, NY, passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at the age of 64. 

Born in Catskill, NY, on February 13, 1946, he was the son of Sarah Kane Case of Lansing and the late Milton Case.  A graduate of Lansing High School, John was most recently employed as a cook at Billy Bob Jack’s in Lansing.  He was an avid NASCAR fan, always rooting for Dale Jr. and he also enjoyed adding to his extensive diecast car collection.

In addition to his mother, Sarah Kane Case of Lansing, John is survived by his son, John M. Case, Jr., of Spencer; a sister, Mary Lou (Ronald) Dodson of Ovid; a grandson, Christian Case of Spencer; and his close friends David & Doris McDougal of Lansing.

Those wishing to remember John may consider a contribution to a charity of their choice.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. David Braid, will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 1PM at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY.
